With your permission, WorkTrac may access your microphone to record voice notes attached to tasks. Voice recordings are uploaded and stored with the associated task.
If you enable the step counter feature, WorkTrac uses your device's motion sensors to count steps during work hours. Step data is stored locally on your device and synced to your organization's account.

We use the information we collect to:
Your work activity data (tasks, time entries, location check-ins, photos, messages) is visible to managers and owners within your organization. This is the core purpose of the Service — enabling workforce management.
If your organization shares task information with clients via the Client Portal, clients may see task status, photos, time entries, and attachments that your organization has chosen to share. Clients cannot see your personal profile, location history, or private messages.
We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

|---|---|---|
| Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) | Device push token, notification content | Delivering push notifications |

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
We may disclose your information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or government request, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
Our servers are hosted in the United States. While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. Specifically:
You can request a copy of your personal data at any time through the app or by contacting us. WorkTrac provides a data export feature that generates a downloadable copy of your account information, profile, and activity history.
You can request deletion of your account through the app settings or by contacting us. Upon deletion:
You can control the app's access to your device features (camera, microphone, location, motion sensors) through your device's permission settings at any time. Revoking a permission may limit certain features.
You can disable push notifications through your device settings or within the app.
